Ingredients

  • 1 roll of pizza dough
  • 2 cups of Marinara Sauce
  • 1 lb of mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 6 oz of sliced white mushrooms
  • 8 oz of sliced sweet peppers
  • 1 lb of ground Italian sausage, browned
  • 4 oz of thick cut salami
  • 12 in cast iron skillet
  • 1 tsp cornmeal
  • EVOO for skillet

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Grease skillet with EVOO
  3. Sprinkle cornmeal evenly on bottom
  4. Roll out dough to cover skillet and up the sides
  5. Layer in this order: cheese, sausage, onion, salami, mushrooms, sweet peppers, cheese, sauce
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes
