INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoons ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 piece fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 piece scotch bonnet (or any hot pepper) OPTIONAL
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tsp ground allspice (pimento)
  • 3 sprigs scallion
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cube Maggie Bouillon or 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cup water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend.
  2. If needed add more salt for taste..
  3. If the marinade is too thick add more water.
  4. Place in a container and leave in the fridge.
